....The roman church renamed him after they deemed wild nature evil so as best to control people.
Mother nature and all female deity representations were seen as irrelevant at best, organic interraction with nature outlawed. It worked though. Repressing human nature led to unnatural city dwelling being managable, and the concentration of advancing thnking over naturally just being led to modern technological advancements, but at what cost? Social illnesses which are caused by the repression of natural behaviour...what's the cure? We can't all go back to living in mud huts and walking the dog in the park isn't enough. If you cut down too many trees for the sake of modern advancement, fine, but build some more, try to find other resources. It's in our genes to hunt, fight and gather and football fandom helps men a lot. We have time now, technology has made us comfortable, a lot of us are bored, apathetic and don't know why. If you stick a tiger in a cage and the light in his eyes is starting to die, the colour of his coat fade, invest in at least a tread mill, with his food out of reach ahead, with a view to at some point letting him out into a bigger cage...or a nature reserve... he may not want to go at first, scared of the wild now but if he doesn't hear mother nature's call then, he may lose the ability to ever hear her at all...
